Training Programs - Level II: Contingency-Based Strategies and Skills Learning and Development (30hrs + Practicum Modules + Practice Video)

A more sophisticated application of SSLD (Strategies and Skills Learning and Development) is not based on pre-planned programs, but contingent upon the specific circumstances and needs of clients or learners. Such contingency-based skills learning or development programs are more responsive to individual needs and special circumstances, but require a much higher level of practitioner expertise. Contingency-based SSLD is necessary when there is no established program available for the client or the particular situation. The trainer will have to assess the situation, determine goals and training/learning objectives, and generate the corresponding skills and strategies. Mastering contingency-based SSLD will allow the practitioner to respond to a much wider range of client issues and circumstances.
